Heather Ann Mendoza is the founder of LLB. She is a Licensed Esthetician for the state of California. Heather was born and raised in Merkel, Texas, and moved to San Diego when her husband received orders from the United States Marine Corps to serve at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. 

Heather married her high school sweetheart, Marcelino. They currently do not have any children, but they do have two wonderful loving Yorkies named Prince and Jasmine. After settling down in San Diego, Heather attended Kaplan College and received her Dental Assisting Certification in 2010 which then led to her becoming an RDA in 2011. After 5 years in the Dental field, she decided it was time for a change, it was time to pursue her dream as a beautician. She attended Marinello Schools of Beauty where she received her Esthetics Certification and shortly after, received her Esthetics License. With a little luck and a lot of hard work, it seemed as though the stars were aligning correctly and in 2014 Heather decided to open her own lash boutique, Luxury Lash Boutique. She opened her first salon in La Jolla in January 2015. She loves nothing more than working with clients to help improve their personal appearance through skin care, makeup applications, body hair removal, and of course semi-permanent eyelash extensions. Her hobbies include hiking, arts and crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
